The last couple of days we’ve seen a great increase in activity on our platform, likely due to the strange situation we currently have to deal with. Hopefully ToffeeShare can already help you increase your productivity working from home, but we have some things coming up that might help this even further.

ToffeeShare works peer to peer, meaning a direct connection between sender and receiver is always made. This works fine in most cases, but sometimes you are limited to technology that has either disabled this feature (for instance some networks are very strict) or does not support it yet or is buggy.

For those situations we would like to offer the possibility to transfer files via our server, completely free. Files transferred via our server will still be end to end encrypted, but will lose its peer to peer nature. Of course this feature remains fully optional, keeping this decision in your hands.
